Stacey’s Fee

A standard 50-minute consultation with Stacey (Clinical Psychologist) is $260. Consultations can be in person or Telehealth.

Stacey’s endeavours to keep her fee below what is recommended by the Australian Psychological Society ($311 for a 50-minute session). This is not a bulk billing practice and the full fee is required on the day of your appointment.

Medicare Rebate

Whilst a GP or Psychiatrist referral is not necessary to access psychological support with Stacey, if eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, it can reduce the out-of-pocket cost. The current Medicare rebate for a Clinical Psychologist is $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. This leaves a gap fee of $118.15 per session.

If you want to see if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, it is recommended that you book a ‘Long Consultation’ appointment with your GP or discuss options with your Psychiatrist.

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance, you may also qualify for a rebate through your provider. Please enquire directly with your provider to determine your eligibility. Unfortunately, Stacey is not currently able to directly process private health insurance claims for you. Please note that you cannot claim through both Medicare and your private health fund for the same appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Due to high demand for mental health treatment and limited appointment times, Stacey requires two business days’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If your session is on a Monday, please cancel by Friday the week prior. If less than 2 business days’ notice is provided, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur the full session fee. Telehealth sessions are available as an alternative if you’re unable to attend in person.

Outstanding fees will need to be paid prior to scheduling a further appointment. Medicare rebates cannot be applied to cancellation fees.
